Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Director, Enterprise Applications to join our team in our Kimberton, PA headquarters.

Job Summary:

The Director, Enterprise Applications will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of Carlisle’s Weatherproofing Technology’s applications landscape. This role requires a strategic leader who can align technology initiatives with business objectives, drive innovation, establish close partnerships, influence, and align with our Construction Materials business unit leaders, and ensure the effective utilization of technology resources to support organizational growth and efficiency. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for enterprise application management, including ERP systems (SAP and JD Edwards as primary), CRM platforms, business intelligence tools, and other critical applications. Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new enterprise applications, along with management of systems integrators, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT architecture standards. Oversee the applications change management process, configuration, customization, and integration of enterprise applications to meet the specific needs of various departments and business units. Establish and build a Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) business analysis and applications team. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize application enhancements, upgrades, and optimization efforts. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and support. Provide leadership and direction to a team of application developers, administrators, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Monitor and analyze application performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing measures to enhance reliability, scalability, and efficiency. Collaborate with cybersecurity and application leaders in our Construction Materials Business Unit (CCM), and compliance teams to ensure the security and integrity of enterprise applications and data. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on business operations and recommending innovative solutions to drive competitive advantage. Develop and maintain product roadmaps in partnership with our CCM (Carlisle Construction Materials) division. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for application development, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Other duties as assigned.

Ability to execute programs and projects without ongoing supervision or oversight

Working Conditions:

Office setting or dedicated workspace in a home office setting Ability to high-speed internet connection to facilitate video calls, CRM management and other project related activities.

Requirements


Education and Experience: 

Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.Proven experience, 10+ years in a leadership role overseeing enterprise application implementation, and support within a large organization (1B+ in revenue).Experience building teams in best/low-cost locations.Deep understanding of enterprise software systems, including ERP, CRM, BI, and other business-critical applications.Deep experience implementing SAP ECC as well as S/4 (minimum 4 full lifecycle deployments with SAP)Experience with cloud-based application platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS solutions.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.Proven track record of driving innovation and process improvement initiatives to enhance organizational performance and efficiency. Preferred: Big 4 consulting experience preferred.Advanced degree in business management or a technical disciplineCertification in relevant technologies or project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Agile) is a plus.Experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
