Respiratory Therapist

KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire Respiratory Therapist – FT Nights for our targeted client located in the Dixon, Illinois area. 

Targeted Pay Range: CRTT: $23hr to $35hr or RRT: $27hr to $40hr (pay range varies depending upon skills and experience level. 
Status: Full-Time Nights
Hours: 7pm-7am (72 hours per pay period)

Targeted Client Description:
This hospital is a not-for-profit, independent healthcare provider located in Dixon, Illinois. It is an 80-bed acute care facility offering comprehensive ancillary services, including diagnostic imaging and laboratory services.

Job Summary:
The Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist is primarily responsible for providing basic and advanced professional respiratory care services to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients under the medical direction of the medical director of Respiratory Therapy

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Plans, implements, evaluates, and modifies respiratory care according to the individual needs of the patient. 
•    Required to make independent judgments within the scope of responsibilities. 
•    Required to make appropriate and accurate observations.

Qualifications:
•    Graduate of a Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care approved program or successfully provide documented educational requirements to sit for exam.
•    Must successfully complete the written registry exam and the clinical simulation exam to achieve the Registered Respiratory Therapist {RRT} credential, or Certified Respiratory Therapist.
•    Current Illinois state license for Respiratory Care.
•    Must maintain current Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within six months of hire.
•    National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), or ISRC.
