Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Clerk to join our team. The Logistics Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of the supply chain, including demand planning, transportation management, warehouse management, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics processes and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation planning and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular inventory control activities
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in demand planning and forecasting to optimize inventory levels
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and other logistics documentation
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement and maintain accurate data
- Resolve any logistics-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement within the logistics function

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in supply chain or logistics is a plus
- Proven experience in logistics or related field
- Strong knowledge of transportation management, warehouse management systems, and inventory control practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications related to logistics operations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
