We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a SUPV, QA – OPERATIONS INSPECTION , you will be trusted with managing the 2nd shift QA operations team within the FORT WORTH NORTH MANUFACTURING at FORT WORTH, TEXAS, (US).

In this role, a typical day will include:

Supervise the 2nd shift QA Operations team.

Assign shift responsibilities to QA team members.

Review Manufacturing Batch Record as required.

Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products.

Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in semi-finished and finished goods.

Writing, reviewing and approving Non-Conformances, CAPA’s, Alarms and Work Instructions.

Revising Documents in Veeva

Helping to troubleshoot and investigate manufacturing line issues.

Communicating effectively with production, maintenance, warehouse, and other functions as necessary.

Tracking and presenting Quality metrics.

Facilitating and participating in Quality and Production meetings

Ensuring supplies and equipment are available to meet schedules, and carry out work as defined by schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)

The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

Work hours: 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday from 2:30pm – 11:00pm
