Under the direct supervision of a Prep Foods Manager, the Prep Foods Cook conducts prep work and cooking as deemed necessary. The Prep Foods Cook will also assist customers with orders, serve food to customers, fill the display cases as needed and assist in the cleaning of the department. Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends. Must be able to perform heavy lifting.


The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements. Bajo la supervisión directa del Gerente de Cocina, el Cocinero ayuda en la preparación y realización de trabajo de cocina cuando se considere necesario. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.


Hourly pay range: starting rate $15.91.
