Sorella Optique and Eyecare is a sister-owned optometry practice in Paoli, PA. We are a professional, customer-centric, fast-paced team and our goal is to provide patients with the ultimate eye care experience. We provide advanced primary medical eye care with an emphasis on dry eye services, boutique eyewear, and ocular aesthetics. Our clinic boasts the latest diagnostic equipment. We are looking to add to our concierge team. We are a fast-paced practice that focuses on customer experience and we are looking for a multitasker to help us continue to provide our community with the experience they enjoy and deserve.

Overview:

We are looking for an optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of optical products and services, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for helping customers find the perfect eyewear. Responsibilities include fitting customers with frames and lenses, providing advice on optical products, help schedule appointments, and keeping accurate records of patient information. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to use their skills to make a difference in the lives of our customers.

Responsibilities:

Delivering exceptional customer service to every patient/client Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their prescription and style preferences Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses and contact lenses Adjust and repair eyewear as needed Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage Maintain inventory of frames and lenses Process orders and maintain patient records accurately

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the optical field is preferred Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and ophthalmology is preferred Familiarity with medical coding, HIPAA regulations, and medical records Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Must work a minimum of 15-20 hours a week Must work 2 Saturday mornings a month Must have good verbal communication ABO certification preferred but not required

Pay : $18-$20 per hour

Expected hours : 20 per week

Schedule : 4 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Rotating weekends

Experience : Sales 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute : Paoli, PA (Required)

Ability to Relocate : Paoli, PA : Relocate before starting work (Required)
