Join Our Team as a Heavy Equipment Service Technician in Fitchburg, MA

Are you a skilled Heavy Equipment Service Technician looking for a dynamic and supportive work environment? Join us and play a crucial role in troubleshooting, disassembling, and reassembling rock crushers, screens, and material handling equipment. Your expertise will directly contribute to our operational efficiency and success in the Crushing and Screening sector throughout New England.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose, disassemble, and assemble rock crushers, screens, and material handling equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and service Metso equipment.
  • Maintain shop facility.
  • Prepare and maintain records.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Travel throughout the New England area servicing equipment both in the field and in the shop.


Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of mechanic experience with heavy rock crushing and screening aggregate equipment.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
  • Physical capability to handle heavy loads, climb machinery, and sustain prolonged periods of bending, kneeling, and raised-arm work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting, testing, and servicing Metso equipment.

Requirements
