(Nasdaq | TSX: TLRY), is seeking an energetic, hands-on Director, Accounting & Finance for our growing Craft beer business. Reporting to the Tilray Beer Company CFO, the successful candidate will be a key member of our management team, collaborating closely with cross functional colleagues to continue to grow our $300M revenue Beer Company at a rapid pace, organically and through M&A, and creating a long-term revenue growth plan targeting double digit growth. Job Summary The successful candidate will have experience in fast-paced, dynamic CPG environments and possess a suite of skills related to leadership, GAAP accounting, P&L management, budgeting and forecasting, process orientation, continuous improvement, and special projects such as our implementation of a new ERP. The Director, Accounting & Finance will create a high-performing accounting team that matches the pace and increasing scale of the business. As such, this position requires in-depth knowledge and experience of both accounting and finance disciplines. The successful candidate will liaise with the Central Corporatel Finance Team to consolidate and report the Tilray Beer Company’s financial results, ensure compliance to standard policies and processes and will coordinate with FP&A on matters related to Integrated Business Planning. The role will appeal to individuals who are “roll up their sleeves”, are flexible in their approach and keen to have significant influence on an organization at a key stage of its evolution. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Key member of Executive Leadership Team. Oversees and directs budgeting, forecasting, annual financial statement audit, accounting (including cost accounting) and treasury for all of Tilray beer operations. Timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, on a group and consolidated basis and related management reports. Responsible for internal controls over financial reporting and reviews of key reconciliations. Ensures transactions for the breweries as well as retail and restaurant activities are properly recorded and reported. Manage the day-to-day operations and resources of the accounting department: staff accountants, A/R and Payroll, as well as A/P, which is a shared service. Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to support the organization and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations. Provide training, guidance and direction to employees to ensure work is performed in an efficient, timely and knowledgeable manner Prepare and provide operational reports and analysis on a schedule and unprompted basis. Experience Required: Expert at generally accepted accounting principles. Working knowledge of MS Office. Experience with ERPs and financial consolidation tools. Great organizational and time management, supervisory, and communication skills. Ability to negotiate, delegate, and work under pressure. Strong analytical, decision making and fact-based solution skills.
