Admission Counselor

SUMMARY: Perform general building maintenance and repair work.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to follow and complete instructions Ability to apply common sense when working on solutions Trouble-shoot and correct building or system failures Discernment to contact supervisor concerning transfer of work demanding time or skill beyond the scope of this department Pager duty required and some overtime as schedule demands Occasionally serve as backup for the supervisor in his absence

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Trade school helpful Some building and building repair experience 1-2 years of experience preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Mechanical skills in variety of areas; willingness to learn other disciplines Expertise in a specific area is helpful, but not required Courteous communication skills with the clients, public, and fellow workers

Licensing in area of expertise encouraged
