Regional Accounting & Finance Manager

**CPA Required**

One of Vaco’s manufacturing clients has engaged in a search to find a Regional Accounting & Finance Manager to support their office here in Dallas.  This is a blended role between supporting day-to-day accounting and business support for operations and the field (reviewing & interpreting results, strategy discussions, having a seat at the table with internal partners regarding budgeting & forecasting.)

Day-to-day
  • Coordinate and oversee the month-end and year-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide management with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development and ensure high-quality work.
  • Stay current with accounting regulations, standards, and industry trends to recommend and implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Scoping out KPI’s and tying results into the financial reporting
  • Ad hoc analysis for new projects including CapEx requests and justification

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Professional designation required (CPA or CMA)
  • 5+ years of finance/accounting experience
  • Construction materials experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability in financial/business analysis
  • Must have a strategic business focus and ability to anticipate future consequences and trends accurately
  • GAAP knowledge
  • This position will be based out of our Dallas, TX office
