About the Job

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
•BA/BS with at least 2 years of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 6 years.
•Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CRPS) designation; documentation of certification is required.
•Has personal lived experience of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) recovery, currently in recovery.
•Ability to work with computer programs commonly used in research settings, e.g. Word, and Zoom 
•Ability to work on-site at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (MIDB), Institute of Child Development (ICD), Department of Psychiatry, and/or Department of Psychology in Elliott Hall.
•Ability to work 1-3 weeknights or weekend days per week, depending on study phase. 
•Has access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications
•Prior professional experience with providing personalized one-on-one support.
•Experience working with other persons who used substances during pregnancy or early parenthood.
•Prior professional experience working with mothers and/or families with infants and/or young children.
•Research experience: personal (has been a participant in a research study) or professional.
