Facilities Technician I-III
Saugerties, NY
The Facilities Technician I-III plays a vital role in guaranteeing a safe, clean, and efficient work environment for all staff and activities within our premises. Their responsibilities encompass maintaining cleanliness, ensuring the proper functioning of facilities, workspaces, and equipment, while also providing support in security measures.
Main Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize all areas of the siteSweep, mop, and vacuum floorsDust furniture and fixturesEmpty wastebaskets and dispose of trash in designated areasClean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrorsTaking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depletedRespond to requests from building managers to conduct various maintenancePerform custodial and Grounds dutiesClean windows and glass surfacesContinuous awareness of the site requirements, status, maintenance, and utilitiesTo ensure corporate safety standards are incorporated into current working practiceComplete other duties as assignedEducation Level
High school diploma or GED equivalentRelevant Previous Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is essentia,l Institutional cleaning experience preferred.Knowledge areas/Skills
Use, hand tools and associated shop equipmentAbility to work independentlyGood written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in home country language, a basic command of written and spoken English requiredHourly Range: $19.00/per hour - $24.00/per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
