Pay Range: Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

System and Service Reliability: Design, implement, and manage reliable, scalable, and faulttolerant systems and services to ensure high availability and performance. Automation: Develop and maintain automated systems and tools for deployment, monitoring, alerting, and incident response to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize the occurrence of incidents in the future. Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize system and application performance, and collaborate with software engineers to improve efficiency. Monitoring and Alerting: Design and implement monitoring solutions to proactively detect and resolve issues, set up appropriate alerts, and develop actionable insights. Capacity Planning: Analyze system usage patterns, forecast future resource requirements, and recommend scaling strategies to ensure optimal system performance. Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices, ensure systems are secure, and comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements, conduct post-incident reviews, and drive initiatives to enhance reliability, availability, and scalability. Collaboration and Documentation: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, document system designs, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and share knowledge through documentation and training sessions. Other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education

Minimum Year / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience

Year Relevant experience in site reliability engineering, system administration, or software engineering in a large-scale production environment.

Proven experience in a similar role, such as Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Engineer.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and distributed systems. Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Bash. Experience with containerization technologies (, Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-ascode tools (, Terraform, Ansible). Solid knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews. Knowledge of security best practices, compliance standards, and data privacy regulations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
