Description

Residential Counselor – CILA Bristol 

A CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) is a group home style living arrangement for adults aged 18 and older living with developmental disabilities. Clearbrook currently has 50+ CILA homes around the Chicago area, each one housing 1-8 clients each.

Clearbrook is committed to being a leader in creating innovative opportunities, services, and supports for people with disabilities.

Location : Hanover Park, IL Hours : Part-Time Schedule : Mon-Fri 5p-9p, Sat 9:30a-6:30p](29hrs) Pay : $20/hr + Paid Training Sign-on Bonus : Full-Time staff will receive a total of $2,000 and Part-Time staff will receive total of $ 750in bonuses the first year of employment with us

Responsibilities :

Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned. Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources. Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping. Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.

Qualifications

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license required Must be 21 years of age
