Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

Uses alarm panel to respond to residents assists/smoke alarms in emergency situations and communicates the situations to administration also communicates any unusual events, missing items, or alleged thefts.Coordinates all emergency response efforts, including directing emergency vehicles to the SNF and EL, as well as the IL.Provide Resident Information Forms. DNR information (from binders) and E-Clinical information (from computer) to paramedics and medical transport companies, as well as internal medical and emergency responders.Uses two way radio to communicate with various nursing, maintenance and administration staffPerform nightly flipper checkSet up and remove furniture and decorations to prepare facilities for events such as programs ,banquets and meetingsHelps usher residents in the ballroom during nightly programsAssist residents with minor maintenance and computer issuesCovers the front desk for concierge breaksDelivers packages to resident apartments as needed

Required Qualifications

Qualifications:

Good communication skillsPrevious security or concierge experience preferred. First Aid or medical training a plusSuperior customer service skills.Professional appearance and demeanor.Flexibility to work varied shifts (when needed), including weekends and holidaysMust be able to respond quickly to alarms.High School diploma or equivalent.
