Web Engineer

is responsible for high quality design, development, testing, and support of our website, database, servers, and other technology resources that power our company. He/she is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and with a high degree of quality, always keeping in mind the goals and benefits the project was designed for. He/she is also the go-to person to troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues with our websites, servers, and other technology.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, test, and maintain our websites, databases, APIs, and other technology resourcesSource, monitor, and maintain our cloud-based servers and applicationsDevelop tools that help us analyze data and trendsPlay a key role in large, complex technical projects that achieve key business goalsEnsure day-to-day tasks are performed correctly, following protocols and best practicesWork with other team leaders to achieve project goals on timeInform senior leadership of new tech ideas, products, and approaches that could help the business grow and improve customer experiencesMaintain hardware and software for our office PCs and Network

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree related to the field, master’s degree preferred5+ years relevant work experienceAbility to build and maintain databasesSQL experience, including complex query writing and database designAbility to code and program websites and web pages, including backend payment processingHighly skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQLExperience building and adjusting WordPress websites a plusAbility to manage complex projectsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve technology issuesOrganized and detail orientedAbility to communicate technical ideas to non-technical colleaguesMust excel in a fast-paced, agile work environmentSkills in leading a small team to accomplish great outcomes a plusExperience in an entrepreneurial environment preferred
