Head Barn Manager/ Groom

We have a more boutique style operation here at Schramm Equestrian. We primarily focus on eventing, but do have a couple of straight show jumping horses. We are looking for someone who wants to become part of the team and care for the horses and the barn and also someone that wants to learn and have fun. We have a lovely group of horses and a small number of students. We need help with the normal barn routines - feeding, turning out, grooming, mucking stalls, bathing etc. This role also has the opportunity to travel to shows and groom or if you prefer to stay home and take care of the farm and horses at home that option is also available. This is not a riding job, but could include some hacking and lunging. We also need someone to help manage the day to day scheduling and logistics alongside Jimmie. This includes vet and farrier scheduling, feed ordering, show schedule and daily schedule for horses and staff.

Must have a drivers license. We prefer no pets, but for the perfect person we could accommodate. Must have a team mentality and be good with clients. Good work ethic and good attitude.
