Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre-1st / Kindergarten Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. This position focuses on Secular Studies, including English, History, Science, Math, and other related subjects. As a Pre-1st / Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment where young learners can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with curriculum standards and objectives

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, respect, and cooperation among students

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students

  • Use a variety of instructional strategies, materials, and resources to enhance student learning and engagement

  • Assess student progress regularly through observation, informal assessments, and formal assessments

  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning and achievement

  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding students' progress, behavior, and any concerns

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a Pre-1st / Kindergarten classroom

  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for young children

  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom

  • Knowledge of secular curriculum standards and instructional strategies

  • Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources
