Project Manager

Our client is looking to add a Project Manager with Heavy Civil Construction Experience and Deep Foundation emphasis to their team.

Duties

• Ability to work with a team or independently

• Work from the start of each project thru completion, to direct project scope and vision

• Oversee new and remodel project; including change order negotiations, material orders and design evaluations

• Create the schedule for each project and match talent to the job; including coordination and communication with store management to insure little disruption to store activity

• Collaborate with the architect and construction crew to ensure feasibility of each project

• Prepare and submit project estimations

• Acquiring permits for projects and corresponding with state/city inspectors

• Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings and plan sets

• Strong knowledge of civil or site work

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, processes and equipment

• Strong computer knowledge; specially Microsoft Word and Excel

• Excellent organizational, communication and detail skills

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Engineering emphasis
  • Minimum 5+ years of geotechnical experience
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Licensed Civil Engineer or EIT certification - Looking to get the PE soon
  • Experience in geotechnical construction - deep foundations
