The Opportunity
Consor is looking for Construction Inspectors to support the growth of our construction management group in the Western United States. This position will offer you an opportunity to travel to unique destinations to inspect both state and federal projects. If you join our team, you will work with a team of internal and external staff, including other construction inspectors, managers, and documentation specialists. Hourly Range: $60/hour - $75/hour
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced construction inspector to provide inspection on paving and wharf construction.

Required Credentials
At least 10 years of experience in construction inspection of civil infrastructure projects such as paving & wharf construction. Demonstrated knowledge of quality control / quality assurance construction inspection means and methods; knowledge of current construction inspection techniques; and knowledge of safe working practices and regulations in relation to different types and phases of construction. At least three (3) years of experience using construction management software systems. Certification needed to perform inspection according to best industry practice, such as a nationally and construction industry recognized technical certification related to mechanical construction. A baccalaureate degree in engineering or experience as a millwright or similar trade is desired. Candidate must be flexible to service construction projects in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, specifically South Bay and/or East Bay regions. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Consor is a North American water and transportation infrastructure consulting firm focused on going above, below, and beyond the surface to move people and communities forward.
