Overview

PURPOSE:
Flexjet, a leading provider of fractional private jet ownership and leasing, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join the Global Marketing Department as the FXLUXE Travel Concierge. At Flexjet, we have leveraged our global travel network to present extraordinary getaways, granting our aircraft Owners access to the world’s most cherished locations. These curated experiences form the FXLUXE Travel Guides. As a FXLUXE Travel Concierge, you are responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for our Owners. From the moment they join Flexjet, you become the aviation professional for the organization to the Owner. As Flexjet evolves as a full lifestyle brand, we are seeking a FXLUXE Travel Concierge to act as a destination expert, book complete Destination Guide travel itineraries for Flexjet’s Red Label clients and anticipate their every need for travel. You must have a problem-solving mindset, strong organization skills, knowledge of the luxury hospitality market and a passion for adventure to be a successful FXLUXE Travel Concierge.

ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Flexjet offers an array of private jets - some of the youngest in the fractional jet industry. Flexjet’s clients include corporations and Ultra-High Net worth individuals. Red Label by Flexjet is a key differentiator for the company that offers flight crews dedicated to a single aircraft and over 40 different interior designs under the LXi Cabin Collection of interiors.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class service during every interaction with our clientele
• Professionally handle incoming calls and emails
• Prepare, provide and book all-inclusive Flexjet Destination Guide itineraries for clients
• Remain educated on ultra-luxury standards including hotels & resorts, culinary experiences, and once in a lifetime excursions to enhance the Flexjet Destination Guide.
• Be comfortable traveling to international destinations for long periods of time for site-visits, relationship building and clients trips.
• Act as on-site travel concierge from the time clients arrive to time of departure. Show a strong sense of cultural awareness and understanding of customs.
• Manage all aspects of Flexjet’s pre-trip, on-site and post-trip gifting plan and work with brand partners to brainstorm evolution of the program
• Build relationships with all Destination Guide properties and excursion partners to ensure that all details of our client’s trip are executed flawlessly. Immerse yourself in the operation of each organization to become Flexjet’s Destination Guide expert.
• Proactively communicate any changes or other potential disservice concerns
• Respond quickly to any questions/inquires pertaining to scheduled trips, status of trips etc.
• Provide daily quality control of all trip details including service expectations, ease of travel and location recommendations
• Aid in the development of future itineraries and execute full production of trips
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as requested
• Show flexibility in adapting to a continually changing industry
• Understand and follow standard operating procedures
• May also include assisting Chairman’s travel profile and participating at Flexjet hospitality events
• 24x7x365 availability

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in a service and/or hospitality field is preferred
• 1-3 years of customer service experience in a high-end service industry. Proven work with an award-winning luxury travel agency will be considered a strong advantage.
• Background in aviation and ultra-luxury hospitality management is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
• Have strong attention to detail and ability to finish any given task to completion
• Flexibility to travel 75% of time. Trips will typically span 5-6 days in duration.
• Fluency in English; multilingualism (with a focus on Spanish & French) is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of digital software reservation systems
• Adapt to schedule changes with a positive attitude
• The ability to work in a team atmosphere and also confidently work independently
• Successful candidate must be able to respond calmly and handle many customers’ demands in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills are necessary to perform job at the expected level
