Overview

Homes for Independent Living (HIL) has an opening in our Operations Support Department. The OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST position is a great opportunity to improve the lives of our clients by actively supporting operations throughout all of HIL’s service lines. Primary duties of the Operations Support Specialist include: 

including root cause analyses of employee injury, allegations of employee misconduct, client grievances, non-compliance with resident rights, and incidents of theft or injuries of unknown source.  for operation including renovations, purchasing, program development and achieving regulatory credentials.  and regulatory compliance audits. Prepares reports and recommendations for improvement. Supports the development, implementation, and update of all internal processes directed at compliance.  of documentation systems, organizational policies, licensing requirements, administrative procedures, confidentiality requirements, organizational standards and Owner Handbook information. Promotes consistency in practices. that compromise program outcomes. Provides training or mentoring to agency staff as assigned.  and represents interests of the Company.  including renewals insurance documentation, and replacement fuel cards.

The Operations Support Specialist is a critical role that works collaboratively with all company department. This position reports to the Operations Support Manager, who reports to the Operations Support Director.

Qualified individuals will have at least and a High school diploma or equivalent. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to work under tight deadlines, exercise good judgement, and effectively problem solve. This position requires exceptional communication and organizational skills. The right candidate must quickly adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility, autonomy, responsiveness, and overall must possess a high level of initiative.
