Visual Merchandising Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Columbus, OH (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays)
Duration: 12 months, potential to extend
Pay:  up to $33/hour, DOE
 
Our client, an established and well-loved Retailer, is looking for a Visual Merchandising Specialist on a ~7 month contract with possibility to extend. This role will be 40 hours a week and the location is flexible.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • 90% of this role responsibility will require virtual store design programing and developing in-store visual merchandising for select store formats.
  • Supports the visual merchandising team by helping to story tell brand elevating visual merchandising presentations to drive traffic and conversion.
  • Executes creative concepts, seasonal floor sets, product launches, tests, and other special projects.
  • Assists and prioritizes multiple projects for the Visual Manager to meet all visual/marketing milestones.
  • Delivers consistent innovative and merchandising solutions that improve the in-store experience, drive traffic, and meets Brand objectives.
  • Stays current with fashion, beauty, interior, and competitive trends via market patterning in order to create new and innovative thinking.
  • Visits stores to understand the customer needs in order to identify go-forward opportunities.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Art or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years’ visual merchandising.
  • Highly skilled with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experienced in PowerPoint for merchandising presentations. 
  • Experience delivering in fast paced environment with attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to understand and execute product positioning strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experienced in Window operating system.
