Job Summary

: The willing candidate must be able to work in a team environment and possess skills to handle multi-tasking duties. Candidate will be required to pass an annual vision screening. The Technical Control Group team member will be involved with day to day operations of MCL. The candidate will be involved with various quality issues and concerns. A Technical Control Group candidate will participate on cross functional team projects to help improve the overall organization to help meet our customers’ requirements and expectations. The candidate will train with various team members in MCL. 2nd shift M-F 3:30p - 11:30p

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding of MCL Manual Sections and PWA specifications. Determination of drawing requirements to meet testing requirements. Learn to setup test requirements in UGA. Learn various UGA functions required in Technical Control Group. Be able to learn SAP and Solumina requirements. Understand various alloys of raw material in manufacturing process. Understand various holds and when to use. Learn and interpret Alloy Data Records for raw material. Train to be backup if needed concerning ADR’s, MRP, Mechanical testing.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 – year degree preferred. Two (2) years quality experience preferred, Material Control Laboratory experience a plus.

Additional Information:

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
