Adelphi is seeking highly qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized speech language pathology services to students for a school district located in Yakima - Washington. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide appropriate speech language pathology services to students of the school district, through speech evaluations and analysis, individual and group interventions, observations and consultations.

Requirements:
• Master's Degree or equivalent.
• ESA School certificate.
• Communication Disorders Specialist Initial Certification Internship in Communication Disorders.
• Active license to practice as an SLP in the state Washington.
• Record of dependability, flexibility and strong attendance.
• Possesses a team approach attitude toward fellow workers.

Responsibilities:
• Appraise and diagnose speech, language and hearing disorders of students who have been referred.
• Participate in Multi-disciplinary Team meetings and evaluations.
• Prescribe and implement speech, language and hearing therapy as written on the IEP.
• Conduct ongoing evaluation to determine prognosis and recommendation.
• Instruct and implement programs using paraprofessionals
• Participate in appropriate in-service and career development activities.
• Manage behavior of students and maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Keep adequate records of student progress and communicate to parents/guardian quarterly.
• Monitor SLP assistant therapy of students and verify speech logs of students assigned to caseload.
