We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer specializing in PLC programming to join our industrial automation team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in PLC programming, control systems, and industrial automation to support our manufacturing operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for various automated systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing control systems to improve efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to integrate PLC systems with SCADA and HMI platforms
- Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs and control systems
- Provide technical support and training to operations staff on automation systems
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer or Automation Technician
- Proficiency in ladder logic, function block, and structured text programming
- Experience with HMI development and SCADA systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with Rockwell Automation Suite (RSLogix, Studio 5000) and Siemens TIA Portal
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus)
- Knowledge of safety PLC programming
- Experience as an Industrial Automation Technician or Control Systems Technician
- Background in process control and instrumentation
