BASEBALL/SOFTBALL UMPIRE

CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled

PAY RATE: Starting at $14.09 to $16.82, depending on experience

SCHEDULE: The season starts April 17th and ends July 11th for Softball and July 17th for Baseball

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

Umpire baseball or softball games for the Lehi Recreation Youth Leagues.

Games are played Monday through Thursday with rainout makeup games held Friday's and Saturday's, as needed.
As an umpire you would be in charge of the play for the field to which you are assigned.
You oversee participant safety and fair play.

RESPONSIBLITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 16 years of age.
Prior experience as an umpire is preferred.
You will need to have a flexible work schedule due to games that will start at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
