Rainbow Restoration is a leader in the restoration and reconstruction industry. We specialize in restoring properties affected by fire, water, storm damage, and more. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reconstruction Estimator to join our team, with a specific focus on Xactimate proficiency.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Restoration Reconstruction Estimator with advanced experience in using Xactimate software to estimate the cost of repairs and reconstruction following property damage. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to produce accurate and timely estimates, and a solid understanding of the restoration and insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for property restoration and reconstruction projects using Xactimate software.
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections to accurately assess damage to residential and commercial properties.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, insurance adjusters, and contractors to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
- Review job specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to create cost estimates.
- Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and guidelines.
- Track and follow up on submitted estimates, maintaining strong relationships with insurance adjusters and clients.
- Analyze and report on the costs and materials necessary for restoration projects.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure accurate job costing and project completion.
- Proficient in Xactimate with at least 2 years of experience in restoration estimating.
- Strong understanding of the restoration and construction industry, including materials and methods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with insurance adjusters and understanding insurance claim processes.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in a restoration or construction environment.
- Certification in water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire damage restoration is a plus.
