What You’ll Do

Work closely with the ACD, Design, senior designers, and copy partners on a variety of in-store retail displays and packaging design needs for a broad range of SimpliSafe products.Participate in a broad range of digital design projects as needed, especially for online retail sites like Amazon and BestBuy.Work with internal clients and stakeholders to complete projects on time and on brief.Be aware of print best practices for design file management and print constraints (i.e. printing ink types, print-safe areas).Ensure final files meet print and web standards.Work in conjunction with the packaging team on pre-press validation, review process, supplier proofing, and file requirements. Assist in maintaining technical documentation and database of finished printed packaging items.Protect and build on SimpliSafe’s brand identity.Stay on top of current design trends.

What You’ll Bring

3+ years of experience in a design studio, or in-house creative department with a focus on retail package design, and dimensional print projects.In-depth understanding of print production and file preparation.Strong organizational skills and familiarity with technical documentation.Good commercial awareness.A formal design education or related experience.Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite applications and FigmaNice to haves:  Motion graphic experienceDigital design experience
