Job Description

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

This employee is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties of the Department. Will answer the telephone, direct calls accordingly. Supports meeting management including, but not limited to scheduling, developing agendas, PowerPoints, taking meeting Minutes, navigation of meeting deliverables and follow-ups for timeliness of meeting presentation compliance. Supports data entry and auditing, expirables management, correspondence, scanning, archiving files, processing call schedules, invoices, billing, and physician time sheets. Assists leadership of Medical Staff Department as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Requires the individual have considerable organizational skills

2. Experience working in the health field is highly desirable for understanding medical terminology, agencies and acronyms. 

3. Experience with proficient level communication.

4. Experience managing complex meeting structures with multiple time sensitive deadlines and communications.

5. Experience in building professional relationships and fostering growth mindset.

6. Must have high proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products.

7. Experience with managing/participating in highly confidential and sensitive information.

8. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

9.

EDUCATION / LICENSURE:

1. High School diploma, GED, or Higher Education required.

2. Vocational training in administrative or higher level learning preferred but not required.

3. Associates degree preferred.
