About Us:
At Waste Connections, we're looking for a dedicated Driver Helper to join our team at Murrey’s Disposal in Fife, WA. We offer a fulfilling opportunity to contribute to our community and environment through essential waste management services.

Pay and Schedule:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime and Saturdays as needed. Shifts start at either 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM. Starting Pay: $25.00/hr. - $26.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently manage assigned routes using a route tablet, ensuring all customers are serviced according to schedule. Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling over 600 garbage cans per route into the rear-load garbage truck. Operate hydraulic controls to handle refuse and dispose of trash safely and effectively. Provide courteous customer interactions and assist with other duties as required.

Perks:

Annual boot voucher of up to $450. Yearly safety bonus potential of up to $1,650. Company-provided uniforms, high visibility PPE gear, and safety equipment.

Requirements:

Clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Working Conditions:

Expect extensive physical activity throughout an 8+ hour shift, including heavy lifting and exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Adherence to basic safety protocols in a dynamic work environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to fumes and vibration.
