The , an iconic property overlooking the Charles River, is seeking a Food and Beverage manager to join their leadership team This hotel offers a seasonal rooftop restaurant, live music at Scullers Jazz Club, and event space. It’s only a half mile from Harvard Business School, one mile from Harvard Square, and less than two miles from Boston University and MIT

This position will be supporting 2-3 outlets at a time (of the total seven outlets on the property).In this role, you will be on the floor overseeing operations in the food and beverage outlets for a team of roughly 15-20 people per shift and you will report to the hotel's Director of Restaurants.

The ideal candidate for this position will be an engaging leader with a passion for creating exceptional experiences, the ability to multi-task, and the desire to foster a culture of respect and positivity. Prior food and beverage leadership experience, including banquets, is preferred. Hotel experience is a plus

What will I be doing?

As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage outlets to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. This includes but is not limited to:

Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff
