Taper/(Spray) Painter

With hard work and a willingness to learn, you will have the opportunity for exponential growth.  G-Net Construction is looking to hire a CONSTRUCTION (SPRAY) PAINTER & TAPER  We are a full-service general construction company offering a full-time opportunity to grow with us Core Values to fit into our company culture: Respect / Proactive / Teamwork.
Tasks include (but are not limited to):
  • Performing spray painting at various interior & exterior projects.
  • Selecting the correct tools and paints for projects.
  • Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting.
  • Mixing and applying paints, varnishes, and sealants for a lasting finish.
  • Polyurethane wood doors.
  • Spot patch and paint walls and ceilings.
  • Being able to work with a team of 3-5 other painters.
  • Know how to mix and apply epoxy paint.
  • Perform all related compound, taping, plaster, priming, painting, polyurethane tasks.

Requirements:
  • Must have your own painting tools
  • Knowledge of all the applicable health and safety standards.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • OSHA 40.
  • 3-5 years experience.
  • Having a valid drivers license is a plus
  • Living on Staten Island is a plus
  • MUST be able to work on the books legally
