Shook’s Century City office has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our General Liability Litigation practice group. Focusing on trial preparation and support, the chosen candidate will handle large document production, discovery, interviewing of witnesses and experts, drafting pleadings and subpoenaing records.
As a candidate, you will stand out by possessing:
Minimum 3 years of litigation experience; Personal injury litigation experience (defense side); A willingness to share knowledge and collaborate; Strong attention-to-detail demonstrated by work product.The chosen candidate will be required to be in the office for the first 90 days for training. Upon successful completion of training, a hybrid schedule may be offered.
Ability to travel to attend trial is required.
The expected salary range for this position in Los Angeles is between $89,315 and $133,972 annually. Actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, area of expertise, and geographic/office location.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and/or paralegal certificate/degree and one to two years relevant experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience; OR a minimum of one year at Shook as a Staff Paralegal.
