The qualified person has at least 1 year of office based work experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer sciences, IT, Human Resources is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Monrovia, CA.The HRIS Support is responsible for: Assists in the distribution and dissemination of information pertaining to FMLA, workers' Compensation, Verifications of Employment, Disability Claims and Company Bulletin announcements.
Conducts background checks and employment verifications.
Responsible for maintaining the department's third party file storage system (Iron Mountain)
Assists with company issued uniforms and orders special uniform requests with the vendor. Process new hires, transfers, promotions and other status changes in HRIS. Create or modify reports in HRIS as necessary for business needs. Utilize communication, analytical and technical skills effectively, working with HR functions, HRIS, Payroll and third parties to research, analyze and resolve system procedural issues to ensure proper completion of requests for information and/or support tickets. Perform various clerical and administrative duties.
Working collaboratively with other departments. The qualified person has: About 1 year of office based experience dealing with confidential and sensitive data. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Human Resources or other related fields..
