Job Type: Full Time, On-site

Responsibilities for the Assistant Project Manager:

  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial concept to completion.
  • Support the estimation process for new projects by gathering and analyzing relevant data to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and contractors to help ensure project specifications are met.
  • Assist in overseeing the installation and maintenance of landfill gas extraction systems, leachate piping systems, pumps, and electrical control systems.
  • Help ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations throughout the project.
  • Provide support to the Project Manager in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, acting as a liaison when necessary.

 

Requirements of the Assistant Project Manager:

  • Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in project coordination or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of landfill gas extraction systems, leachate piping systems, pumps, and electrical control systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management software is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field of project management.
