RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide speech/language therapy services within an clinic-based setting to children with varying exceptionalities
  • Responsible for evaluations, treatment, and implementation
  • Participates in developing measurable goals and objectives for each chillds needs as applicable to the clinical setting
  • Interpret evaluative data to establish measurable goals for the child
  • Complete daily progress notes at the end of each session
  • Establishes and maintains a positive collaborative relationship with children, clinic staff, and families to increase childs achievement
  • Performs other duties as assigned

SKILLS | CERTIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or ability to obtain preferred
  • Current Licensure by the Georgia Secretary of State or ability to obtain
  • Thorough knowledge of therapy best practices
  • Enjoys making a positive difference with children
  • Experience working with children with various exceptionalities preferred
