Moore- ResourceOne Division is seeking a Scheduler 1 to join our scheduling team


Job Summary:

The primary objective of the Level I Scheduler is to maintain a view of ResourceOne mailings and print-and-ship jobs and performing data entry/referring to the Master Schedule to ensure that timeline dates are maintained. As part of our production team, you will maintain production schedules according to customer needs, maximizing effectiveness and throughput in all aspects of the production process. You will also balance incoming sales orders with existing capacity and backlog, distribute upcoming schedules to team leads and supervisors, and coordinate with our leadership team to ensure ideal staffing levels and coverage. This is a specialized position, and our ideal candidate has considerable professional experience within a production environment,

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Excellent attendance is a MUST.
  • Assisting the Scheduling Manager and Scheduler II as needed.
  • Referencing and tracking milestone dates as noted on the Master Schedule.
  • Creating timelines for new mailing and print-and-ship opportunities.
  • Generating revised timelines for delayed jobs.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Develop and implement daily and weekly production schedules and targets
  • Balance existing labor and machine capacity to maximize efficiency and production throughput
  • Examine all aspects of the scheduling process, including historical data, to improve production processes wherever possible
  • Report to the leadership team regarding existing orders, challenges, and production forecasting
  • Using software to generate reports and schedules.
  • Ensuring that company deadlines are met.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Must be professional in dress, communication, and actions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to work under pressure at times.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Printing and Mailing experience preferred but not required.
  • Team-oriented with great communications skills.
  • Reliable problem-solving capabilities; an ability to think outside the box.
  • Exemplary attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 years' experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Production experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs periodically
  • Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and move about the facility
  • Required to grip twist and turn both hands for long periods of time
  • Required to set at desk and computer for long periods of time

**Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
