Join our dynamic team as a Cytotechnologist In this vital role, you will play a key part in microscopically evaluating GYN and non-GYN material, providing preliminary interpretations on FNA, non-GYN, and abnormal GYN cases. You will render the final interpretation on GYN cases determined to be negative. Your responsibilities will extend to various procedures and activities, including deep, radiologic-guided fine needle aspirations, specimen collection for ancillary testing (including molecular), renal adequacy procedures, accessioning, data entry, lecturing in the School of Cytology, providing input for SOPs and inspection preparation, performing correlation procedures, and offering back-up coverage to other sites as needed.Salary Range: $49.37/hour - $65.11/hourQualifications

• Must possess a California Cytotechnologist license, ASCP Cytotechnologist certification (CT or SCT), ThinPrep certification, and BD-SurePath Morphology certification.• Successful completion of the CLIA-mandated GYN (PAP) Proficiency Test, either from the prior or current year. Recent graduates of Cytotechnology training programs are exempt during the calendar year of program completion.• Bachelor’s degree.• Working knowledge of the essentials of normal/abnormal cytologic principles for GYN and non-GYN (including FNA) specimens.• Ability to work between locations/sites as needed.• Strong organizational, teamwork, and time-management skills.• Ability to maintain clear and legible records.• ROSE (rapid on-site evaluation) experience preferred.• Ability to work at both Santa Monica and Westwood site, with occasional travel to off-site clinics, such as Torrance and San Fernando Valley.
