Job Overview:Responsible for an automated production systems, ensures that costs and quality goals are met in an efficient manner while providing a safe working environment for all employees. Ensures completion of the production program in line with business requirements. Responsible for a team of direct and indirect reports, strategic planning of technical and process developments.
Responsibilities: Manages personnel, machinery, and materials efficiently Defines budgets and deployment scheduling; tracks budget achievement and costs Contributes to the development of implementation strategies Oversees the development and implementation of new production technologies and ensures continued process improvements Works closely with different departments on the development and implementation of production processes Collaborates with project managers on optimization of plant utilization Ensures that the expected level of safety, quality, quantity, and deadlines of the production process are met. Implements lean manufacturing concepts to achieve goals Considers and ensures compliance of product-specific and plant-specific environmental concerns and government regulations Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, directives, and work agreements Leads regularly scheduled team meetings Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings Will perform other duties as assigned QualifikationenQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or similar. Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience incl. leadershipQualified candidate must have extensive knowledge in Body shop systems using state of the art automated and robotic equipment.
Must have excellent knowledge in LEAN manufacturing and how to apply it in a modern work environment.
Must posses excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in an intercultural, fast paced, changing and growing environment.
