Research is fast-paced, dynamic, demanding and intellectually stimulating. We look for candidates who possess strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing/communication skills, as well as modelling, and bond valuation experience.

As a Vice President in Latin America Corporate Credit Research, you will help to conduct and facilitate industry analysis and company-specific coverage. This involves core research ranging from dissecting earnings releases and regulatory filings to assessing relevant news events, macro trends, modelling financial statements and industry dynamics, performing detailed bond valuation work, writing research notes and sector pieces.

Job Responsibilities:

Follow specific sectors and companies in Latin America Provide timely analysis and recommendation on covered companies and sectors Communicate thoughts, ideas and analysis in written and oral form Perform financial modeling  Reviewing financial/operating results and analyzing sector trends Understanding covenants and their implications Writing research reports including company/sector initiations, earnings reviews and updates  Generate investment ideas to our clients

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

5+ years’ experience in research, investment banking or another analytical and demanding role Strong accounting and finance skills Advanced level of proficiency in Excel, financial modeling Strong written and oral communication skills A passion for the markets and interest in industry specific coverage

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Bloomberg MS Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint) FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 CFA is a plus Language skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese Prior experience in the region or with a particular sector, specially Consumer
