HOW A SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Ensure supported SharePoint environments are operational 24x7 and may occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

Provide assistance in implementing and supporting the enterprise SharePoint environment and hosted applications.

Implement and support the third-party tools used in the enterprise SharePoint environment.

Act as a central point of contact for issues and concerns related to all SharePoint environments and tools.

Provide advice and guidance on industry best practices.

Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members, may have supervisory responsibilities.

Prepare presentation materials and reports for management and meeting updates.

Review quarterly Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) , remediate open vulnerabilities and report compliance.

Proactively monitor the SharePoint farm to anticipate and remediate any issues.

Serve as a subject matter expert during technical meetings, and provide guidance to leadership on the best course of action.

Use Powershell to manage the SharePoint farm and create reports efficiently.

Manage the functionality and efficiency of a SharePoint farm, site collection, and assist Site Collection Administrators.

Communicate all system outages to the 24x7 operations center.

Provide guidance to Site Collection Administrators, end-users and lower level SharePoint Administrators on the correct and appropriate use of the SharePoint functions and capabilities.

Configure administrator and service accounts.

Evaluate vendor products.

Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of SharePoint resources.

Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.

Provide advice, guidance and training to end-users.

Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.

Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

Monitor Quest/Metalogix replicator to provide redundancy.

Participate in special projects as required


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree or equivalent experience
● Required Experience: 2-5 years of related experience and/or 2-5 years SharePoint experience
● Required Technical Skills: Powershell, SharePoint, Administer SharePoint

● Required Certification: certification: IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP) and Microsoft certification within 6 months of hire.
● Security Clearance Level: SECRET
● Required Skills and Abilities: Troubleshooting, STIGs,
● Location: On Customer Site, Ft. Huachuca
