Experience & Requirements
Completion of an accredited program in phlebotomy technology.
Minimum of one-year phlebotomy experience.
Current CPR Certification.
A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Responsibilities
Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Phlebotomist :
Collect, prepare and protect specimen.
Process specimen for shipment to appropriate labs.
Perform calibrations and maintain reference standards to ensure accurate results for tests.
Respond to emergencies and/or critical incidents.
Evaluate and make recommendations regarding new laboratory services and procedures.
Maintain proper records and documentation of tests and complete required reports.
Maintain a clean and orderly working environment consistent with Universal Precautions and other applicable infection control standards.
Adhere to safety and security policies and procedures.
