About the Position
The Groundskeeper is responsible for landscape maintenance operations, including all elements of lawns, walks, and roadways, as well as minor hardscape repairs and maintenance of secondary areas. This position is considered essential personnel and will be required to work during periods of inclement weather when the College is closed for a weather emergency.

Primary Responsibilities
Perform manual labor such as litter pick-up and trash removal, cleaning of storm drains and curbs, raking and removal of leaves, removal of snow and the application of ice control materials, setting up chairs and bleachers for special events, and clearing brushOperate basic power equipment and tools, such as small tractors, lawnmowers, string trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, wood chippers, walk-behind blowers, and chainsawsApply fertilizers by hand and push the spreaderAssist in turf renovation and repairOther duties as assignedLine of Report: This position reports to the Grounds Manager and has no direct reports.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentTwo years of experience in Grounds MaintenanceProfessional Competencies
Ability to interact with the campus community in a positive mannerAbility to work alone or with a crew of 5 or more peoplePreferred Qualifications
