Job Title: Senior Superintendent - Asphalt Paving and Maintenance
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Superintendent specializing in asphalt paving and maintenance to oversee the day to day operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of asphalt paving projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in asphalt construction, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage asphalt paving projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, specifications, and budget constraints.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of asphalt crews and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on all job sites, fostering a culture of safety among team members.
- Resource Management: Manage equipment, materials, and manpower resources effectively to optimize project performance and minimize downtime.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, inspection records, and job site photos.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project issues and challenges promptly, utilizing effective problem-solving skills and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
