They seek an experienced Fabricator/Technician to join their team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG and stick welding, fabrication, a knowledge of mechanical assembly with a willingness to do a variety of jobs outside of welding. Experience necessary in machine building, pipe fitting, assembly, manual lathe, electrical work and/or crane experience.
Fabricator/Technician Responsibilities:
- Fabrication from furnace case drawing and assembly work to final product
- Burner/burner tube installation, fan installation, chain & chain guide installation, motor wiring and installation
- Minor pipe fitting, pipe welding, and pipe threading
- Welding and fabricating a variety of industrial components and structures using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate and precise welding
- Building industrial machines with electrical and mechanical competency
Fabricator/Technician Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in production as a Welder or Fabricator
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to pass a welding test.
- Must have a driver’s license.
- Must be willing to travel.
Benefits for the Fabricator/Technician:
- Health Insurance at 90 days
- 401K at one year
- 401K match at 3%
- Dental and Vision electives through Aflac
The Fabricator/Technician position requires about 25% travel. They offer $45.00 per diem pay, paid travel time, and company vehicles for both local and overnight travel. The company arranges hotels, rental cars, and flights at company cost.
