Salary:  $17.59/hr

Duties and Responsibilities:  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (50%)
• Collaborates with One-Stop partner staff to serve WIOA clients in pursuit of achieving high school equivalency.
• Recruits and enrolls non-high school equivalent WIOA clients as students.
• Serves as liaison between One-Stop Coordinators, WIOA program staff, and the Adult Education program to ensure smooth
processes and operations.
• Facilitates student registration and orientation processes at One-Stop Center locations.
• Provides clerical support at One-Stop Centers by responding to inquiries and compiling information.

CAREER & TESTING SERVICES (20%)
• Collaborates with WIOA program staff to coach clients on career pathway options.
• Works closely with AE Career Pathways Coach and WIOA program staff to concurrently enroll students into college programs.
• Assesses incoming student levels by administering the TABE test.
• Coordinates the registering of students for the official HiSET exam.
• Monitors students’ progress to ensure they are meeting testing authorization deadlines.

DATA PROCESSING (20%)
• Enters student data into the LCTCS WorkReadyU data system.
• Manages student data records in collaboration with WIOA program staff.
• Provides TABE scores to WIOA program staff for case management purposes.

INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT (10%)
• Advises students and assists Learning Facilitators with tutor scheduling.
• Provides information for students with disabilities for accommodations purposes.
• Recommends campus locations based on client locale for learning and testing services to occur.
• Attends faculty and staff-related instructional meetings when needed.
• Assists with graduation efforts when needed.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Adult Education.

Required Education :  

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Required Experience :  

• Excellent communication skills,
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to successfully complete provided training in instruction in area of specialty.
• Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment with minimal supervision and a high degree of
flexibility.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects and responsibilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office© Professional applications.
• Ability to learn the operation of standard school office machines and equipment.

Preferred Experience :  

Experience in secondary and/or post-secondary education counseling and/or recruiting.
