Salary is up to $89,240 for a candidate meeting the minimum requirements of a Procurement Assessor III.

Job Details

Full-time 40-hour work weeks.Support the Risk Assessment and Compliance team.Salary for a Procurement Assessor I is up to $59,882 based on education and experience.Salary for a Procurement Assessor III is up to $89,240 based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

Review and audit partner agencies purchase card transactions, procurement acquisitions, processes and procedures*Understanding and auditing the business area objectives, risks and controls to ensure significant risks are identified and appropriate controls are established to reduce or eliminate the risk by designating the proper department within OMES to assist in their needs*Comprehension of applicable statutes, standards, policies and regulatory initiatives while conducting audits*Gather, analyze, summarize and sufficiently document information based on utilizing software to complete each step in the assessment program or checklist, applying standards, technical and analytical skills to arrive at appropriate conclusions*Provide independent and objective evaluation based on statutes, promulgated rules, and standards*Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc specialty audit projects as neededDrafts partner agency communications and reports that are clear, concise, well organized, adequately summarized and use appropriate tone related to audit findings reports*Convey pertinent information to team members and contribute suggestions that provide meaningful input during meetings*Conducts meetings and interviews with partner agencies procurement leadership concerning procurement audits*Liaison responding to partner agency thresholds increase requests*Meet continuous education and training requirements set by leadership*Assist with day-to-day assessment operationsOther duties as assigned based on immediate needs of the organization

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift paper and office supplies and to perform job duties on a computer and telephone for 6 – 8 hours per day.

Occasional travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of related audit or finance experience or;An equivalent combination of work experience and educationCertification as State of Oklahoma Certified Procurement Officer, or ability to attain Level 1 certification within 90 days.​To meet the qualifications of a Procurement Assessor III, the candidate must also have an additional 3 years of procurement-related experience.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess

Experience with PeopleSoft and/or Celonis
