Lot Attendant

Start your journey with Blue Compass RV as we are looking a Forklift Lot Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for arranging trailers on the lot with a forklift and assisting the service team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Ability to operate a forklift to transport trailers to and from service areas and lot as needed or re-arrange throughout the lotPark and move RV units in a timely fashionEnsures window prices on recreational vehicles are installed and removed as instructedWrites work orders, tracks problems and ensures units are in proper working orderSweeps, picks up trash and debris, empties garbage cans, keeps lot clean and professional in appearanceKeeps units and equipment secure from weatherEnsures slide-outs are in, jacks are down, steps are down, select awnings are opened and the doors are unlockedMaintains a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.Fuel and Propane check and refillStaging UnitsCheck in new units when they arrive from the factoryRunning errands for parts or suppliesPerforming any other tasks deemed necessary by supervisor

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:

Some Technician experienceTowing experience preferredPrevious yard tractor and/or forklift experience. Ability to drive an RVExperience using generators and operating slide-outsAbility to repair small items and identify problem unitsProlonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bendingMay lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devicesShow potential for growth and ability to learn RV repair techniques
