We are responsible for designing community-based systems of care, agreeing health and wellbeing plans, executing those plans, and monitoring outcomes which then feed into the design process. We work in partnership with our Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora colleagues to shape system-wide public health services across the motu

The primary purpose of the Senior Executive Assistant is to provide high quality, timely, one-to-one executive support to the Director including dealing with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced Senior Executive Assistant that will bring with them a kete of extensive knowledge and experiences, while holding the wisdom and mana associated with this kind of role. As an experienced business support professional, you will have an exemplary understanding of medium to large organisations, in addition to the legislative frameworks that effect the health sector.

As an experienced Senior Executive Assistant, you will also enjoy solving complex problems, are motivated by top-notch performance and are someone that excels in a behind-the-scenes supporting role. To be successful you must be able to work fast-paced, juggle changing priorities, work cross-culturally and be someone that naturally enjoys an environment and role that is constantly changing.

This role has you ideally located in Wellington, but this can be discussed at interview stage.

Previous experience in a role providing support managerial support to a senior executive Needs to draw on relevant longer-term experience specific to the job and work demands, acquired over time of 10-15 years Experience/skilled in with calendar management and meeting coordination and arrangements for Senior Leaders Experience/skilled in with secretariat duties, including meeting minute taking and collation of minutes Experience/skilled in with financial administration such as processing invoices, reconciling payments and financial reporting as required Experience/skilled in with making travel arrangements and booking accommodation Relevant qualification (or working towards such qualification) or similar experience
